There are probably fancier bands than Dirt...flashier ones concerned about their brand and their image. Dirt doesn't give a damn about those kinds of bands. Dirt straps an ashtray onto crutches and plays the drums with broken feet. Dirt gets a tattoo of a heart with the word "Beer" in the middle. Dirt plays the hell out of their guitars. This is grimy, gritty rock and roll music. Ain't nothing fancy about it. Like Bob Dylan rolling around in the mud after the Newport Folk Festival. Like ZZ Top's beards after an eight-month tour. Like Johnny Cash clawing himself out of his grave to play a show with Jack White. Let other bands care about their image. Dirt puts their sweat into their sound.
